The pose is unchanged; the clothes and the manner are not. The café table and its drink have been replaced by a Wiggle and an nm13. The eye is a white disc inside a black ring: in Dix the same glass was the claim itself, the document of a woman who looked rather than one who was looked at. Here it is painted shut, and the body has come forward in its place. A bird sits on the stool, drawn with a harder edge than anything alive in the room.

- Green over three quarters of the surface and split in two, a dark wall at a hundred and thirty-four degrees against a bright floor at ninety
- The wall meets the floor at seven tenths of the height on the left and half of it on the right; the white disc and the bird's head stand at one level
- The green scrubbed along the weave with a dry brush, the body turned wet into wet, the dress drawn last in a single yellow line
